  • investigate Bush?

The Obama administration has more pressing issues than to spend time investigating clear abuses of the Bush administration.

  • Obama/press/Bush

Obama has earned the respect of the press. Bush - their scorn.

  • Re: Future ramifications

Your arguments on ''tit-for-tat'' unfortunately and in all probability are true. But the reverse could also be true: Facing the possibility of future prosecution, the Obama and all future administrations might scrupulously follow the law. Now wouldn't that be something for a change? There is an argument to be made that had president Ford not ...

  • Obama's First Time

Let's look out for Obama's swagger over the next few years. During the recent press conference the comments about Nancy Reagan and tax rebates were, to me, awkward attempts at presidential gravitas that were only hinted at during the campaign. I think it can easily be attributed to nerves and the tasks at hand. We like you the way you are, or ...

  • Excellent ideas

As an Obama supporter I think that the suggestions in this opinion piece are just great. I hope that the president-elect takes them to heart. If on the other hand they are all not followed I really hope that those who did not support Mr. Obama can keep as silent as they did when Mr. Bush appointed only his own political cronies to cabinet ...

  • This Article prove McCain is not Bush

Just simple in why McCain is not another Bush.... that rheotic lie attack came related to the Iraq war ....and you cannot put him in line with the offshore oil drill.... McCain opposed 4 years ago....McCain voted againts Bush energy bill and Obama voted Yes to it. So my dear liberal friends ..... instead of finding crab to write on McCain ...

  • McCain's Unhappy Warrior

This piece says one smart thing and one stupid thing. Yes, the gas price ad was dumb, as the writer recognizes. But on this point he was dead wrong: his Surge attack was dumb too, and hence the writer's statement is dumb, because it buys into the fallacious arguments that: 1) The Surge is working, because it lowered our troops' death rate in ...

  • Franken on the Hill

Before we rebuild another country we need to clean our own house. By that I mean send career politicians packing, rather they be republican, democrat or an independent. Sorry this means Ted Kennedy needs to go home and fight his cancer and Oklahoma's Istook needs to return to mopping floors at the radio station. There could be worse things to ...

  • Not an utterly pointless fight

Webb's shouldn't have been concerned about hurting Jr's feelings. His concern was for his child and his disdain for an idiot war (chief) is valid and founded. Obama and the Demos need a few more with a Webb-like background in order to add some gravitas to a light party. We could stand to learn a few leasons about not letting stupid people push ...
