missles to Hawaii?
North Korea's Kim is a bully. He is also a realist. If aims a missle at Hawaii he will be through. He doesn't want that - he's having too much fun.

Tell that to the millions who are about to become un-employed. Tell that to those who have lost their jobs and houses.

Obama's address
Obama proves once again that he is very good with words and giving speeches. Where he lacks abysmally is following up with action.

Good Questions. I Would Like to See Eliot Spitzer a Senator
Sometimes, you judge a politician by that politician's enemies. Spitzer has all the right enemies, including the ''Masters of the Universe'' on Wall Street, who cheered and toasted his political demise recently, and then promptly threw our American economy ''under the bus.'' Besides, if Bill Clinton can make a political comeback, why not the ...

Dig Deep--Music '08
It appears as if our critic has not kept an ear to the underground. All of the music selected, some fantastic, were nothing but buble gum pop noise. I will just throw out one name--Badu. Ms Badu's record was one of the most amazing, politically charged albums of the year. Forget the throw away first single Honey--great as it was. The rest of her ...

2008 Terminology Like "Bailout" Drove Me Nuts!
I guess every year there are new or renewed words and phrases that appear and become nauseatingly repetitive. This year I thought I was alone in thinking ''bailout'' was a word that sounded like fingernails across a chalk board. Then I heard it had been named ''word of the year'' by Merriam-Webster and I felt vindicated. More people have ...
