If Obama does nothing, it is his fault
obviously the author has compassion for obama. Right now the country's eyes are focused on obama, and the rest of his socialist coharts, (pelosi, reid) they are the ones who are playing games with the drillling of oil. The only reason they have not lifted the ban on drilling is that it is a republican idea, and it will work. which would look bad ...

Is Cindy McCain next?
Speaking of sleaze that's being talked about in the undernews, but hasn't been picked up by the MSM, or even by Kaus, what about the internet gossip that Cindy McCain had an affair with a Maryland divorce lawyer just before John McCain began his presidential run? And what about John's Vicki Iseman thing? Doesn't anyone have pictures? It would ...

THE MEDIA, CONTROL AND BALANCE
THE MEDIA, CONTROL AND BALANCE By Ronn Torossian, President & CEO, 5W Public Relations Working in public relations and, in particular, crisis management, there is a tremendous balancing act between projecting clients’ images and agendas and, at the same time, protecting them – essentially keeping the press at bay. Often, as it is, the ...

New Quinnipiac poll shows Obama with sizable lead
Barack Obama’s overall lead against John McCain is 50 - 41 percent in the latest Quinnipiac poll. The majority of his support is among women (55 - 36%) and young voters (63-31%), with unanimous numbers from blacks (94 – 1%). The presumed Democratic presidential candidate also racks up an impressive lead in purple and swing states (50 – 39%), of ...

setting up the obama stage
The curtain rises and there she is, standing under a single spotlight, center stage. She is very pregnant, just in time tor the polls to open, just in time to steal any last minute thunder McCain might offer. She is wearing a Jackie Kennedy hairdo and hat. WELL, it could happen, couldn't it?

Barack buyer's remorse
I've read a lot of these ''here is what Obama needs to do'' articles lately. I agree oftentimes with what I read. I think the author's know their subjects and have great progressive points of view on how this country could and should move forward. The problem with these articles is that the authors write as if they know Obama and know what his ...

I Liked Ike -- Now I Like Mike - HUCKABEE, that is
I liked everything I heard about Mike Huckabee, even before he started running in earnest for his Party's Nomination to be our next U.S. President. The more I learned about Mike Huckabee, the better I liked his candidacy. Further, he is a very well-spoken and persuasive guy, with that down-to-Earth Midwestern style I always liked about ...

Government abuse of power
South Dakotas law relating to doctor patient communication and abortion: This is just another method for people using and abusing government power. They attempt to control others and legislate morality by forcing their beliefs (usually based on their religion) upon all of society. Their goal is to limit freedom and force conformity with their ...

But men love us!
and want us to be equal! There is no reason for a young woman today to worry about any man wanting to control her reproductive choices. That's all in the past, silly! I'm really insulted by all this fear-mongering! And frankly, it is quite insulting to men. The House and the Senate both are filled to the brim with men who love women!

The Unnatural candidate for anyone with Christian morals
I am sorry if my remarks may seem too harsh to some but the truth will set you free! As a Christian (Catholic) I can not vote for a candidate that has no problem denying medical care to victims of botched abortions, to be specific he vote in the Illinois legislature to deny medical aid to an infant that had survived an abortion attempt...so ...
