Oh come on,
Beam states in his article: Palin had all of two days' notice... about her nomination, and less than a month to prepare for her first debate. ''Take John McCain and put him into the last 60 days of a governor's race in Alaska,'' says Republican strategist Stuart Stevens. ''He wouldn't know the nuances of the North Slope vs. the suburbs of ...

The impact of race in this election
I believe that for the most part, President Elect Obama's race was not an asset for him in this race. If he had been white and ran the almost flawless campaign he did, he would have won by a far greater margin. Besides; there were many White Americans that admitted that they would vote republican rather than vote for Obamb. America has came a long ...

Re: Pull out the feeding tube
Have you heard anything Rev. Wright says? I've watched videos of what he says. Do you honestly think we need a president who for over twenty years listened to the preaching of someone who says to ''damn'' the country that he wants to be the leader of? Obama's mentor is somone who is racist and anti-patriotic I am not voting for Obama. I am ...

The greatest sales job of all time
I think your right about the fall-out if Obama loses. Never in my lifetime have I ever witnessed such an all out ''barrage'' for one candidate over another. I'm 52 year old. The people behind Obama have had some time to prepare for this campaign. I think it started out as a bet between some very powerful people. You know the scenario: ''yeah, ...

Obama's crowds
The crowds that gather for Obama contains how many registered voters? There are many children, including teenagers, in view, while they swell the numbers they don't vote and the college students, how many that show up are there for the celebrity of the occasion? How many college students are local to the appearance as compared to those who are ...

Re: McCain and Palin BARELY graduated college!
WoW. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It's amazing that Palin even got elected GOVERNOR never mind selected as VP! No wonder she doesn't know anything and they both seem fairly, um, well, unsophisticated (to be kind). I know who I'm voting for!

Re: McCain and Palin promote RAPE...bear with me......
Also, no comment on the other accusations? McCain did make a rape joke, did criticize Obama for trying to prevent kids from being molested, Palin does advocate banning abortion in cases of INCEST and RAPE (even incest and rape of a child, she specifically answers in regard to a 15 year old girl AND her own daughter). Come on here, am I ...

One sided media
I do agree that McCain needs to improve his speaches and focus on how he intends to fix our economy and protect the American People. However, Obama has not stated how his policies will fix our economy. All he states is vote for me and I will do the right thing. But How? Also, I feel that the media, including these polls and opinions, are focused ...

How astonishing
that Slate would vote overwhelmingly for the most liberal candidate ever to run for the office. I would have thought that even a group of far-left liberals would have some perspective, perhaps an random thought process, that might warn them of the dangers of a Democrat controlled government. I'm sure you're all admirers of domestic terrorists, all ...
