GOP try Rovian BS Politcal Framing of US Populace
Applebaum adequately defended Washington's populace, perhaps to suffice her Slate editors, however she did not tackle the larger Machiavellian or or modernist Rovian strategy of the GOP. The Rovian strategy Palin is mouthing is to divide NOT just the American people based on their general location, but on their political affiliation. And those ...

Israel has nothing to do with melt-down
I agree with the author. The campaign is placing too much emphasis on Israel.. They are not the problem. The economic meltdown is.

Serious business
The economy is in a meltdown and Congress can't work over the weekend? If there's a war they can't act till after the holiday? Not only Bush will be gone but he should be taking his Republican Congressional cohort with him.

Bush Redeems Himself - from Katrina, to Gustav
The main benefit of this new hurricane in the New Orleans, Louisiana area, if you can in any way couch this natural disaster redux in such terms, is that President Bush and the current Republican White House and Administration get to improve their performance. Already, Bush is on the ground and in charge. Our President has appeared on my ...

Re: Is The Media Bias? Here is Evidence of Bias
Media bias is a perceived notion that certain press has and is pushing a viewpoint, instead of reporting news or airing programs in an objective way. That is the way I see it. Such bias often refers to media as a whole, such as a newspaper chain, or a given television or radio network, instead of individual reporters or writers of television ...

Is The Media Bias? Here is Evidence of Bias
How the Media Vote. Surveys of journalists’ self-reported voting habits show them backing the Democratic candidate in every presidential election since 1964, including landslide losers George McGovern, Walter Mondale and Michael Dukakis. In 2004, a poll conducted by the University of Connecticut found journalists backed John Kerry over George W. ...

This Article prove McCain is not Bush
Just simple in why McCain is not another Bush.... that rheotic lie attack came related to the Iraq war ....and you cannot put him in line with the offshore oil drill.... McCain opposed 4 years ago....McCain voted againts Bush energy bill and Obama voted Yes to it. So my dear liberal friends ..... instead of finding crab to write on McCain ...

Amazing that Americans Have This Discussion
Having studied American civics in grade school and high school, and having my doubts that Bush Cheney or anyone else in our current White House similarly learned about American history, traditions, institutions and law, it continually amazes me that this Bush Cheney Presidency has run riot so egregiously. Congress? Lay down. The Courts? Lay ...

Great Review of Some Important Books . . .

Government abuse of power
South Dakotas law relating to doctor patient communication and abortion: This is just another method for people using and abusing government power. They attempt to control others and legislate morality by forcing their beliefs (usually based on their religion) upon all of society. Their goal is to limit freedom and force conformity with their ...
