Carl Jung said (not a direct quote) that a countries leaders were a reflection of the consciousness of the people. Nothing truer could be said about the issues surrounding this presidential election. Racism and war mongering have been present in this land since 1492 and will continue until the American people decide to shift their consciousness. How deep it goes is amazing. One of my friends who is of Iranian descent and grew up here since a child is now a pilot. He told me on one of his flights the plane had to fly over Iran. The captain, forgetting his ancestry, said, " We should just bomb those sand ni**ers off the planet". After he realized what he had said he apologized to my friend however my friend said to me that if he were not there to hear it the captain would have said it anyway without apology.
