Thank you for bringing up these thoughtful questions and new points of view. Even if there is a right to bear arms, it is not either have them or not. Every right we have is constrained by other considerations. We must hear the deep concerns of those who are fearful of losing their guns as well as the deep concerns of those who fear the rampant proliferation of dangerous weapons.

Ultimately, both sides wish to be safe from harm. I'm betting sensible people can find room for accomodation when the extreme demands of gun lobbyists are not in the room. Another reason we all must support the CLEAN MONEY initiatives in our cities and states. It's a shame this important issue has been clouded by "clout" instead of reason.
