Did youy sell this war as a $3 trillion dollar economic disaster to "free" a country that did not have WMD? Wher54e hundreds of thousands would die and millions would be displaced? Where 5 years later there would not be stable water, electricity, or medical care?

I think not. If freeing people had been the goal, there were many sad places far more susceptible to preemptive colonial intervention. As an added bonus, they might not have required the destruction of the American economy, or its standing in the world.

Basically, you admit no error or wrongdoing, and wrap yourself in a cloak of humanitarianism. This is drivel --and if you don't know it, Brandeis should be looking for a more intellectually competent professor.
