And We Thought This Was Complicated
by techresmgt
This is an easy one. For all the prostitutes, call girls, and their ilk, having sex and fearing prosecution; all they have to do is get a video camera, some lighting, someone to 'act' as the banger, voi la, problem solved. The government tries to drive us crazy with their double standard interpretation of the law, so the way around this one is to turn the tables back by simply setting up a movie set whenever those that want to have sex with a 'prostitute' want to consumate the act. It seems to me to be a simple case of interpreting the law and abiding by the spirit of the law. Why shame 'johns' while EVERY prostitute is viewed as a 'victim' as she then evades prosecution and then provided tax payer funded program perks? The role of victim has been overplayed by the feminists. The lifestyle prostitutes live is a choice. We have been led to believe women are into free choice. Oh, I see, except until it involves breaking the law, and then they revert back to victim status. But then again, they gamed us on the deal of being viewed as a sex object, as it turns out they love that role as well with very little complaint. All prostitutes are certainly not victims or exploited; they make barrels of money while hiding behind the 'victim' role, exploiting men. Man, that is messed up. Men are criminals and women are victims? The myth continues. When a man makes a bad life choice he is punished in very expensive and profound ways. When a woman makes a bad life choice, she is rewarded with sympathy, immunity, and lifetime support. Like I said, that is messed up.

1. Women need to see an example of a woman/women who has/have enough money to care for herself/themselves and is/are acquiring it respectably.

2. Women need help to be capable of acquiring money respectably, ie cant go to college because she's too poor, or doesnt have enough of that "college ready" background preparation.

3. Women need support if their skills or education cannot monetarily support them currently.

4. Women need to NOT see prostitution, pornography or "dancing" as a viable alternative to meet these ends.

5. Women need to NOT be initiated into prostitution as a child or adolescent, either actually or by mental conditioning.

What you say makes sense from a male perspective, however, it does not from a female one. People need money to live and money is harder to get for women than men. Prostitutes dont exist because women love to sell their bodies, but because men enjoy hot raunchy sex with no strings attached, and as observed will pay "barrels of money" to obtain it. Women see porn and prostitution as a viable way to get money, live and be prosperous, or make that extra cash if ends dont meet. It may appear they are "enjoying it," but have you ever heard of a faked orgasm? Same principle. "Enjoying it" makes it easier for the whore, the pimp and the john.

Furthermore women are given immunity because historically (white) men have been given priviledge and superiority across the board, and privilege and superiority supports upward growth and wholeness, while being underprivelged and inferior fosters the opposite... corruption and poverty.

Who comes off better in john vs. whore? The whore is a ruined woman whose primary source of income is obtained by giving sex to men who dont care about her, which is also illegal. The john is a man who has every privlege the world can offer, a job, a family, a car, a decent reputation, and is just seeking some fun for himself while the wife isnt looking.

Stars-

Respectfully, I have to say that your take on this is rather reductionist:

1. Plenty of women exist today that are solid role models for women in successful business: Oprah Winfrey, Carly Fiorina (former HP head), Condoleeza Rice, etc.

2. There are programs out there for women to obtain money for college, and/or, adult-education programs to help them acheive a better education.

3. Support: you're right. But how many women do we see that attach themselves to a man simply because he is wealthy? I would be more apt to trust a woman who turned to prostitution because I know up front what she has done to support herself. I can't say that about a lot of other women who sole reason for living is to find a man who is rich so she doesn't have to work a day in her life.

4. There are plenty of women who support themselves this way that are not hooked on drugs and who are supporting a family.

5. I agree - unfortunately, we are blaming the system when we should be blaming the parents. It takes a license to get a dog, but anyone can have kids...

Women have sex for a variety of reasons, that have nothing to do with love: to "keep" their man, to get favors (money, jewelry, gifts) from their boyfriend or husbands, to attract a man they are interested in--many reasons that have little to do with love or affection. While you feel that men come out on the better end of the "deal", women have forever had the option to have sex or not have sex. Why they do it and for what end is up to them and to them alone.
