What's racist about it?

Even assuming that she's wrong (which I doubt - why else do 80-90% of blacks vote for Obama?), it's not a racist statement. If you said that Hillary benefits from being white, that wouldn't be racist. If you say that black people want to vote for Obama because he's black, or that whites want to vote for the first black President for whatever reasons, I don't see how that's racist either.

Nice smarmy try there, but looking up the definition of "racist" isn't going to make what Ferraro said at all racist or any less true. Say it with me... "Smarmy."

Smarmy? Well, since I have the dictionary out.. the entry on racism reads "racial prejudice or discrimination". Let me know if you have trouble applying to definition to Geraldine Ferraro's comments, and I'll give you another word to look up. A-hole!
