$10, no name, beats them all
by liberal_guy66

Mrs. LG66, always on the bargain lookout, bought two chairs at Roche Brothers (a grocery store chain in the Boston area) for $10 each. They have all the desired features, are very comfortable for two adults. The reviewer would score them high. We'll take them to the Pops concert/fireworks (best in the nation) on the Esplenade tonight.

Now, I have no idea who made them or where, how much child or slave labor was exploited, or much an anything else. Maybe the fabric will give us skin cancer. But, we wouldn't know such things about the other chairs, either.

Loved your comment. Made me laugh. Here in Hawaii and going to the beach all my life I have gone through so many portable beach chairs. The best chair I found is an aluminum chair that has arms, sits high off the ground (not low), seat and back are made of a good and sturdy canvas fabric. The chairs folds in half towards the middle. It's like a film producers chair that is made of wood but this one is made of a good gauge aluminum.Wonderful I stick my arm thru the back and carry it on my arm or shoulder. The cost is anywhere from $29 to $39. I think it can be found at Costco. I got mine at a place called Kilgos. No matter what, get out doors and enjoy the moment!

Can't believe this chair didn't make the cut. Bought a few of them from The Sam's PriceCoBJClubDepot a few seasons back and they are the best. Well made, light, comfortable, convenient. Can't beat 'em.
