Fox Watching the Chicken House
by WThomasPayne
What in the world took the major newspapers so long to smack themselves in the forehead and go "DUH!" about the foreclosure and home lending debacle perpetrated by the banks and other lenders? I've been railing about it for months, it seemed flat out OBVIOUS that President Bush and Congress had NO intent of punishing BOTH sides of the equation.

Bush was bragging about how many people bought homes under his tenure! Will the bragging stop now that they are being kicked to the streets in record numbers?

Well lets see......I wanted to move out of the neihjborhood I live in which has become blighted with illegal immigrants but after investigating thoroughly I made the decision that moving would cause a financial hardship. OK Where is my money to move in a better house and neighborhood. You guys are suggesting REWARD STUPIDITY

Good Morning Cuchi...

I'm going to be in line behind you to get my share of this $$. I am still renting due to the high prices cheap homes have seen over the past 5 years.

Good to see your name in lights again! I hate the illegals but I love the food!

Glad I was able to buy my home a few years (7) back. My interest is still 7.25% because I never had enough $ to refinance.. Why can't they just give me a better deal without going through all the closing costs again?

Can I come to Spring and get some of that Chavez oil? What are gas prices over there? Here in Highlands it's around $3.12/gal

Gas is cheaper where you are

I don't buy Citgo. But being in the Oilfield Equip business we quote and sell lots of stuff to 'Ol Hugo's PDVSA and believe me they pay the "good" price for the stuff I sell em

I worked for Cameron years back, one of the first females in the shop. I drove forklifts, one a big momma, and ran a drill press and learned more about math than I did in 12 years of schooling. Blow out preventers, gate valves, I can talk the talk.

Any Conoco or Sunoco brands over there? We have a Conoco here, I've been going for cheap think I'll switch back to American.

Re: Gas is cheaper where you are

Yup that's exactly. My dad did also. I remember when they shut down. All those people that thought they were set for life.....out in the cold. That was during the time loyalty to companies started to be thrown out the window. I was ok because I was younger then and had no problem doing something else, but I really felt sorry for the ones that were near retirement and had to look for another job. I'm sure some of them never worked anywhere else.
