John Hagee met with John McCain. In response to McCain's request for support, Hagee announced that he endorces McCain.

McCain must be anti-catholic, by your logic. Hagee has called the pope a whore master. He has said that the Catholic church helped with the holocaust and supported Hitler.

Just because the minister of the church that Obama goes to says things that are controversial, doesn't mean much to me. We aren't electing him. Did you vote for Bush/Cheney? Did you know that Cheney voted against resolutions calling for South Africa to end apartheid? How can someone be in favor of such a horrible system?

I wonder who the KKK is supporting.

The racist Rev. Wright is fair game because Obama has spent 20 years being indoctrinated with his hateful, anti-American ranting - and a man is judged by the company he keeps. Rev. Wright has accused our government of creating the AIDS virus to kill blacks, importing drugs and forcing them on poor people, and screaming "God Damn America." So -- Obama is made of that company, and the rest of his rhetoric is a smooth cover for raw ambition and lust for power.

The racist Rev. Hagee is also "fair game". No need to mention Pat Robertson or any of the other religious nutjobs.

Indoctrinated? You figure Obama has heard how many sermons from Wright? That amounts to indoctrination to you?

Having listened to Obama's speeches, I can say with some degree of certainty that Obama doesn't think the same way Wright does....he did not absorb that part of Wright's message that was so anti-America. If he did, he wouldn't be such a hopeful individual.

Obama is evil. He wants to become President so he can undermine America. Then, once all powerful, he fails intentionally in an attack on Al Quaida, angering the radical Islamic group and their allies - and, then while Obama is conveniently out of the country, allows America to be brought down by terrorists.

Obama then emerges as the chosen leader of the Muslim world, and appoints his racist, Anti-American Reverend Wright his Mullah.

Now you have the scenario that Obama dreams of...

WHY has Obama has not held even ONE meeting of the Senate committee of which he is in charge? In TWO years, as head of the Senate Oversight Committee on Afgahnistan he has not held one meeting, YET he says he would go after Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan! Obama is such a fucking liar. A half-black, half-white power-hungry thieving, privileged racist, who wants to destroy America from within. Obama is Al Quaida's greatest hope.

So, you liberal idiots, get over yourself, wake up to the danger of this racist opportunist with designs on world domination. Obama is another Hitler - and his Reverend Wright is the proof.

The rantings of Jason and Salub are every bit as narrow-minded as the rantings of Rev. Wright. The only difference I can see is that in one case you have a minister expressing frustration about the discrimination against blacks in America, and in the other situation you see Americans who continue to voice their prejudicial, racist and ethnic views that motivate Rev. Wright. One camp can't survive without the other. Think about it.

As long as there is inequality in this country, and don't kid yourselves, it still exists...then you will have an angry and defiant response to it.

Obama's Rev. Wright has gone WAY beyond racism. He craves and drools for the destruction of all white people, celebrates 9/11, accuses the US government of killing its own black people with AIDS and drugs. In other words, if you can't hear him say these words, and refuse to hear these words, and insist that these hateful words are "just words" then you are one of the millions of fools who also let Hitler -- who was also charismatic and charming and an enviromentalist -- take control and destroy America.

Clearly you choose to ignore the points made by everyone disagreeing with you. First. Rev. Wright is not Barak Obama (any more than Rev. Hagee is John McCain). Secondly, if you can't articulate your point without sexist remarks you should just give up and go back to your coloring book. Your posts are immature rantings.

Without agreeing or disagreeing with Wright, it's important to understand that not everyone is living the American Dream. While it is African American's responsibility to improve their lot in life, it might be disheartening to have such deep roots in the U.S. and be so far down the socio-economic ladder. Laws like crack sentencing are draconian and can be fairly perceived as targetting AfroAmericans.

Look, the U.S. stopped importing slaves in the early 1800s. The families of most whites came to the U.S. much later. It must feel great to think that your ancestors were in this country for so long, under such poor conditions, and yet there is little progress.

Not advocating special treatment here, not blaming today's majority for how things are today, just pointing out that there many reasons for some people to feel anger at the United States. Think how it feels to be born into poverty. The odds are against you through no fault of your own.

Look, for every Wright there is a rightwing fire-and-brimstone preacher out there blaming gays for 9/11 or some other junk.

As long as Obama disavows these comments then who cares? I'd also point out that you have no idea what kind of positive things this guy has to say. You can't take a brief spout of anger and conclude that this is all the guy is about. He might spend 99.9% of his time preaching things that you yourself would agree with.

George W. Bush fails in an attack on Al Qaeda, even paying Muslim warlords to stand by and watch as the Taliban and Al Qaeda leaders flee into Pakistan.

Bush moves the troops searching for Bin Laden to invade Iraq and he disbands the CIA group tracking Bin Laden.

He makes incomptent cronies the heads of Justice and Fema where they supervise one failure after another and dismantle our constitutional rights as well as our ability to respond to natural disasters (or terrorist attacks).

By the way, Obama has been chair of the committee overseeing Nato for 1 year. He is not on a committee overseeing Afghanistan.
