Who is the real victim?

In my opinion, the wife is the only true victim in this whole situation. Both the hooker and the politician knew what they were doing and had a choice in the matter. They are only sorry and pitiful because they were caught. Why should I feel sorry for someone that is capable of making adult decisions? The wife was the only person that is truly feeling the pain from this whole incident. The call girl will go on to have a great career because everyone is steady feeling bad for a pretty young girl who "was looking for a way to pay the bills", and the politician will be made into a villian and made fun of for his stupidity. The wife on the other hand will have to make really hard decisions that will affect not only her life but the lives of her children.

Well, if she had been more attentive to her husbands needs he wouldn't have strayed...

Kidding. Doing my Dr. Laura impersonation. I do feel sorry for Mrs. Spitzer. Nobody like to be a cuckold.

I feel sorry for the public, too. As much as Spitzer had been an inept governor, and was apparently a weasel in his private life, I do think he was looking out for the public good. With all due respect for David Paterson, I don't know who can fill his shoes.

Until I hear definitively that Silda was not one of the many, many married women who dole out marital sex as if it were the last bag of M&Ms in a bomb shelter, I'm not prepared to see her as much of a victim, either.

I observed her facial expressions during his speech and a film shot of them walking out of the building. She is PI**ED OFF weather she will admit it or not- her face and body language said everything
