Actually, it's hard for people in Chicago to pay attention to the random killing of some girl in another state. We've lost 16 school children, all Latino and Black, to killings since the start of the year. And that doesn't include a series of infants and small children murdered by their parents or relatives, of which we've also had a slew.

But, since none of them were White masturbation fodder, no one outside of Chicago is getting very worked up about it.

Not that her murder isn't a nasty tragedy, it's just that I don't know why some killers deserve the mob treatment more than others, as seems to be the case when the victim is white and pretty versus when they are as you might say, nappy and chunky.

Your "Why?" re: some killers as opposed to other killers is well answered in many years of statute and common law by consideration of mitigating or aggravating circumstances or factors that either temper or inflame punishment for the wrong deed.

A drunk driver that loses it,crashes into somebody else and kills them with no prior intent is substantively different than a carjacker that shoots and kills somebody in the commission of their wrong deed. An "Uncle Daddy" that beats a toddler to death for crying is substantively different than somebody distracted by yakking on a cell phone,running a red light and killing a kid crossing the street. All have offended, but in varying degree.

The relativity of wrongdoing is expressed in the terms "misdemeanor", felonies of different rank, "Capital", "aggravated", "heinous" etc.

The wilful execution of an accomplished young person with a lot of promise at the hands of some lowlife street rat turned out in the latest Hip Hop Fashion and STUPID enough to use her ATM card at places with video surveillance kinda upsets me and triggers a primal urge to inflict some horrible retribution on Nappy Rappah for his cavalier murderous criminality. In other words. "To get Medieval on his ass".

There is no more reason to assume those kids, other than race, were gangbangers than there is reason to assume that the white girl you want to torture them nappy heads over was a hooker. I never intended to put down the victim in your case, just wanted to know what you would single out the murderers of that victim over any others.

But I guess to you, if a Latino or Black kid gets gunned down, you comfort yourself with the assumption that they had it coming for being bangers, even though a tiny proportion of kids are actually members of gangs in these neighborhoods. You might not understand that, if you are a bumkin or get your news from Fox.
