What a dummy. Slate is going down hill. They used to open up forums for intelligent debate, but now they'll publish anything that has something snarky or malicious to say about anything, no matter how inane the position.

Murderous Hero Games (MHGs) have been around since the dawn of man. We're raising the first generation of american kids that have been banned from playing MHGs - and i'd like to know what kind of neurotic delusional freaks we might be raising. Kids today are being shielded from reality: murder, war, and most certainly death will always be a part of the human experience. Kids need to be, in a healthy and controlled way, exposed to that fact at a young age so they don't turn 20 and suddenly realize that people do in fact die, and that 75% of humanity is still living under oppression, war and famine. When you meet one of these kids who has been raised in mcmansion isolation without toy guns and violent movies - you can can look into their glazed virgin eyes and see that they have no passion for changing the world or for anything else, and that all they'll ever care about is living as far from the poor suffering masses as possible.
