Here is my latest slideshow of biblical Hebrew poetry (or more exactly, melopoesis). It features David's Elegy for Saul and Jonathan, aka "The Bow" (2 Samuel 1:19-27), with Hebrew text, Latinized transliteration and English translation.
The Hebrew word in the title of this post, ha-Miqra (המקרא), is different from the shalom (שלום) I've been using most commonly. The word ha-Miqra means the Hebrew Bible as recited, rather than as written. I thought the word would be most fitting.
שלום

P.S. to the post: My main Web site dealing with the subject of the melodic rendition of Hebrew Scripture (its melopoesis, as it were) is here. My YouTube channels dealing with the subject (which are also cited on my main Web site) are here and (especially) here.
