Who cares if the replayed game and the original game turn out differently because of the delay? The rational purpose of the replay consists of insuring fair competition for points earned in the officially unplayed segment. The principle is no different than for postponing an entire game, where you wouldn't worry that it isn't the same game originally scheduled.
