IT TIME FOR A WOMAN PRESIDENT
by Iamwomanhearmeroar

Women have been fighting for decades to prove they have what it takes to make decisions and policies that govern our country and for decades men have done whatever is necessary to prevent that from happening. How disgusting is it that the most powerful country in the world is almost the LAST country to have a woman leading it. Where there is a man, there is usually a WOMAN beside him--his mother, his sister, his wife--holding his hand and stroking his ego, all the while running his household, raising his children, and in many instances, bringing home a second paycheck.

Hilary Clinton would not have been my first choice to prove what a woman can do as president, but she IS the most qualified and experienced Democratic candidate. She has proven she has what it takes to stay in the political ring and take all of the jabs and punches from her male opponents. If that doesn't warrant respect, then I am extremely disappointed in the caliber of people--young and old, males and females--who continue to deride Hilary Clinton as a b _ _ ch. If she were a man, she would be called a strong leader.

In any event, I will NOT vote for Obama for president even if he gets the Democratic nomination. While I recognize his intelligence and oratory skills, Obama is a black version of George Bush--a phenomon that is riding a wave into the White House. The Chosen One--the first black candidate--who has surrounded himself with political hacks and BIG MONEY who are pulling his strings. Even if he had more experience, I truly believe the country is NOT ready for a black president.

You said it well.I have nothing to add.
And you want Obama supporters to ...
by FormerlyKnownAsIRP

... vote for Hillary? You really wouldn't vote for Obama? You really think that he is like GWB?

I don't think that you are going to get a lot of support from Obama supporters with statements like that. But obviously, you Clinton supporters think that you can do it all on your own. You don't need votes from the stupid monkeys who can tell the difference between Obama and GWB.

Nice to know that you have such a low opinion of Obama and Obama supporters. Let's get it on!

You sound like a racist ...
by FormerlyKnownAsIRP

Honestly. I take it that you wouldn't vote for a black woman either.

You Clinton supporters really think a lot of yourselves.

I just don't know if we will see it in our life time. It appears from this primary that if you break it down to men voters and women voters in a contest between a man and a woman that men will vote overwhelmingly for the man and women will not vote overwhelmingly for the woman. Women seem to be their own worst enemy.

Monkeys? Now,who is being insulting? We have said it all along. Obama is not ready to be President.

Women seem to be their own worst enemy.

Or perhaps women don't think that a woman deserves your vote just by the fact that she's a woman.

There are many Democratic women governors (some in very red states) that I don't think your theory holds up.

No you have said that his supporters are monkeys ...
by FormerlyKnownAsIRP

.... and delusional.

Personally, I don't think that Senator Clinton is trustworthy enough to be President and I think that her resume is hyped.

So you guys can win on your own. You don't need us. I will vote for Hillary but cover my nose. And no money or phone calls. That is up to you wonderful folks.

you are owed nothing in america. so its only a time for a woman if ste earns it.

why are you a racist?

Take Heart Clinton backers....

Also keep in mind that Obama was spending 3 times what Hillary was in these states and she still won them.

It could be that, after this whole NAFTA debocle, people are starting to see Obama as a typical politician.

Hi Pattee ....

It is a beautiful evening in Bukittinggi and my in-laws (and wife) are being nice enough to let me get a computer fix for an hour or so.

Sounds like a disappointing night last night. (Well for me anyway. My wife was happy!)

Looks like the Hillary hordes are out again telling Obama supporters what "hot s**t" she (and her hubbie) are.

Hi yourself...it's morning in Arizona and I don't feel too bad. Texas was looking good for a while.

I know many Hillary supporters that talk about Bill more than her so I do think that they really think that she will bring back the economy of the 90s but we all know that will never happen. I have not heard one candidate this primary speak of the deficit, the debt or the trade imbalance...those things, along with the Iraq war, will keep this country from doing much.

Re: No you have said that his supporters are monkeys ...

When did I ever say that? Instead of saying,"Congratulations," for Ohio, you choose to say things like that.

I have not posted for quite some time, because the rhetoric was so toxic. That is a good Example.

Patti,Hillary is her own person.Should she win,it will be her making the decisions.

I trust that she will not only do better than her Husband, but will correct some of his mistakes. NAFTA,for one.

I reserve my theory for the very top glass ceiling. Maybe some women hold on to it takes a man to protect them from all the bad things in the world.
