When I first read the column, I thought Chatterbox was delusional. Then, I wondered if he was being satirical. But a third reading made me realise that the man is wacked.

Bill Clinton was not impeached for having sex but for lying about it. Richard Nixon was not impeached for breaking into Watergate but lying about it.

Scooter Libby was not convicted of leaking Valerie Plame's name to the press but for lying about it.

I wasn't this angry when Jerry Ford pardoned Nixon. At least Ford acted in what he thought was the best interest of the country: Putting the foul stench of Watergate behind us. The Bush (which really means Cheney) commutation of Libby's sentence is simply the most vivid and telling example of this entire administration's total disregard for the law, the Constitution and the oaths that entire rabble took to uphold the Constitution.
