Hillary-yes, Obama-no
by USA Gone Crazy
We who are not on the Great Obama Bandwagon sit and watch the situation with amazement and disgust. Why? Well, if you look closely, both Clinton and Obama are indeed Democrats. Yes, Democrats! What have we been waiting for these past eight years? To get rid of Dub-ya and his Republican cronies and put a Democrat in office. Now we have the chance to do so, but there is one hindrance: a Democratic party divided. All the "charisma", youth, inexperience, attitude, zeal, preaching style, and pep rallying just do not cut it with those of us who expect intelligence, integrity, experience, diligence, appeal, acumen and wisdom to be part of the presidency. No, we "old folks" or "old-fashioned folks" are just not ready to relinquish the presidency to some junior senator who has made it clear with half-truths and omissions that he is entitled to the nomination, and we are unmoved by the whirlwind that surrounds his campaign. We say, sadly, "Sorry, not this time". We have in Hillary Clinton a phenomenal candidate possessing every fine quality that could be imagined in a presidential contender, but the Obama camp would like to simply throw away what she and the Democratic Party have worked years to achieve. With all of the well-deserved negativity finally focused on Obama, it's a wonder so many people still trust him! (Think NAFTA, Rezco and Obama's lies...) What a frenzy!

Your right-obama thinks he is entiled to it because of his race-I for one am tired of giving things to people because of their race, religion, and what ever else they want. I could care less if obama was green-he is nothing but a smooth talking liar that has fooled a lot of people. At least Clinton has always been out front-Obama-ya right! We the older population at least can see thru his deviousness-You notice how Obama makes no bones about the money given to his campaigne-oh-Clinton is going down the tubes because she has less money-what does that tell you-he could care less about the working class-your only in his league if you have money-he dosen't deserve my vote, and he certainly hasn't earned it. To bad the younger people are not smart enough to realize this yet! They say a lot of women are voting for him because of winrey-they act like sh's some star-she's a talk show host-nothing more-really work for a living and see where you get-I'm not impressed with any of them-get something becasue you EARN it-not because of your race or anything else you want to throw!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it! Another thinking person still lives. You said it ALL. Great comments.

It's one thing to run as a dem candidate- but to put down the dem record like the Obama camp has done - I find reprehensible. While listening to conservative talk radio I used to hear them talk of the "stop Hillary Express" -2 years ago. I wondered what Mr. Rove and his think tank would come up with and this is it. The divide and conquer is working. Mr. Obama has had a free ride in the media while Hillary has taken a beating most our strongest male politicians could and would not have taken. I am proud of her.

Long before- the Obamamania I was for Hillary. Because she is the Best person for the job - not just because she has the momentum.

Hillary-toast, Obama President.

If you are `unmoved by the whirlwind', over a million others are. Moved enough to send cash money to Barack Obama.

For all the ugly BS Hillary pitched this week, she picked up +/-3 delegates yesterday, while blowing 2 of her 3 remaining delegate-rich opportunities in what were probably her most demographically favorable remaining states. Obama will more than counteract that +/-3 in Wyoming and Mississippi, and he won't have to sling any BS to do so.

After that, it's on to Pennsylvana, where she might pick up another dozen delegates. Then, it's on to, well... Denver, and the DNC, with her +/-165 delegate deficiency intact.

Good luck dealing with it.

Well, someone who really didn't EARN the presidency was George W. Bush. And since you're supposedly a Democrat, I would think your first priority would be figuring out how to undo the damage he's done since stealing the 2000 election. Obama is bringing in a lot of new people into the Democratic fold at the same time that Hillary is driving a lot of people away. I'm shocked by how nonchalant many Democrats are about John McCain. Last I checked he's still a Republican, a vocal supporter of the war even Hillary now acknowledges was a mistake (even though she voted for it every chance she had), someone who pledges to make Bush's tax cuts permanent (so all those children left behind by the No Child Left Behind Act will stay behind), someone who shares Bush's attitude towards the role of government and will continue to limit its oversight capability (meaning more tainted spinach, more broken levees, more falling bridges), someone who shares Bush's disdain for civil liberties and the legal rights of poor and minorities, someone who thinks our health care system is just fine, someone who thinks global warming is nothing a couple of lines in a speech and a few flourescent bulbs won't fix. If you're a Democrat, I would imagine these things concern you -- or do they?

Hillary has divided the party, possibly beyond repair. Any lingering respect or affection I had for her has disappeared in the last two months. The vitriol she has poured upon Obama will leave me and other Obama supporters feeling deeply disenfranchised if she gets the nomination. However, I will nevertheless vote for her if she is the nominee, because I feel that it is more important to drive the Republican party from the White House than it is to make some sort of statement about the Democratic Party. Are you willing to vote for Obama this November?

A. You need to check your facts.

B. Obama was not even a senator when Hillary voted along with most senators to authorize the possibility of going to war. So that matters not at all - it is easy to say what you would have done years later. None of us actually know what Obama would have voted.

C. Obama has divided the Party, not Clinton.

I will vote for the Democratic Party regardless, and shake my head in amazement if Obama is the Candidate and loses this election for us because the "Obamania" inspired by Opera has worn off and people see he is just another politician full of half truths with out the intelligence, experience or substance of the other candidates. I thought this election was an easy win - just as I did in 2004. It makes me sick that Obamabots that suddenly decided to pay attention to politics because it is the newest trend are going to ruin it.

Right on Hillary-yes, Obama-no! The Democrats need to wake up and realize that the road to the White House is not over the dead body of Hillary Clinton. Many voters simply will not vote for a party that fails to treat this exceptional candidate with the respect she has earned. Listen up, Teddy K et al - No more Hillary bashing if you want to get to the White House.

"We have in Hillary Clinton a phenomenal candidate possessing every fine quality that could be imagined in a presidential contender"

What qualities would those be? That she's a career criminal and self-absorbed liar? Let me refresh your memories - http://prorev.com/wwindex.htm

From a person from NY State, I can tell you that she deserves absolutly no credit for anything except fool a bunch of foolish people that actually know nothing about the lady other than what they wish to hear.

Actaully I would like to know what type of Rx your Dr gave you because I need what ever you people are taking .......... because you silly people must be really really high!

She has done nothing but sneak into NY State senate by taking place of a former senater who retired. She carpetbagged her way into the spot, virtually done nothing in a very short time, that why she is a JR Senator, and took the shortest path to her true desination ........... the Whitehouse. That was her only reason she came to NY and she screwed us all as a State and now you relish the thought that she can do it now to the entire country??? Nothing like jumping from the pan and into the fire.

All she has done is further tarnish our politcal system, she has bungled her own campaign, and has made a mess of her party and was terrible in manging her finances during her campaign and had to borrow $5million just to pay staff ??

This is the clown you want to run our country for the next 4 years ......... please.

All she gets from me is my contempt for her.

The posters in this thread would appear to be illustrating the sort of partisan bickering and nastiness that Obama states he hopes to change.

Funny how some here try to use the argument, "We are all Democrats! Show blind loyalty to Hillary!"

By that logic, "We are all Americans show blind loyalty to Bush" works equally.

Obama's message seems to be " We are all Americans, let's work together". I prefer that message.

(with the remembrance that Obama was trailing Hillary badly in the polls last August; he got his ball rolling with a series of attacks against her.....remember the percepttion he and Edwards were ganging up on her in debates? I do)

Fugatz, get your facts straight. Obama pitched plenty of BS in Ohio with those Harry & Louise mailers and radio spots. He said in Texas after the 3am ad ran that "we've seen this kind of fear-mongering before" - yeah, from his campaign!!!

And all that money for Obama? Well he outspent her 2-1 and she still won!

Wherever Clinton has gone head to head with Obama, she's won. She's smart and focusing on the states any candidate needs to win in the general election. Superdelegates will take notice.

How has Obama divided the party? Because he had the audacity to run against the annointed one and actually got people to listen to his message and believe in him? By having the audacity to defy the Democratic Party by not waiting for Hillary to have her turn?

What is so wonderful about Hillary? What vast experience does she have that no one else can compare? What has she done for NYS in her 7+ years as a Junior Senator?

Hillary is nothing but the same old, same old partisan politics. I am an Independent and if Hillary is the nominee I will definitely vote for McCain.
