A cat. A domestic shorthair is a type of cat. As in, Snoop wasn't talking about a cat when she said "pussy."

Kinda strange adding another blogger almost at the end of the show, no? We'll see if can comment on matters other than homosexuality. Of course she can't be any worse than Jeff and whatshisface.

Speaking of sex, it's amazing how little of it has been on the show. Not just this season, but in general. I know it's not Sex and the City, but you'd think all these gangstas would be hooking up with hood rats, strippers and whoever else they could get their hands on. We're talking about young men with lots of disposable income here. We saw Michael pop his cherry last season, a couple of scenes with Daniels and his lady, and that's about it. No wonder B-more is so depressing - no one's gettin' any, except of course for McHorny with his one night stands. Or 5-minute stands. What happend to money, cash, hos?

One thing to be said for this latest blog entry: at least it was clearly from a writer who's watched all seasons of the show. Nice to see some context and history for a change, even if she did only focus on one aspect of the show.

Yeah, it's been a very "exterior" season. We've been inside very few homes (much less bedrooms) and seen very little loving.
Hello, June, and welcome!

Re: Where is the love
by qistat

To a degree that is true but there have been some very moving scenes.

There has certainly been love shown between Michael and his little brother. I would include Dukie as well in that 3-way relationship.

The scenes with Kima and the adopted child on the window sill and playing with tinker toys as well.

Bubbles and his sponsor too.

But I would agree it has mostly been cold and stark.

Oh, and I forgot to say, I'm just guesting today--you know, representing for the gays.

Please, stick around. It's good to have some Slate involvement on these forums. Maybe you can convince Plotz and Goldberg to pop their heads in every now and then too?
