I was thinking the same thing at first, but "Mr. Prezbo" wasn't really that close with Namond in the prior school year, since Namond got pulled out of his class for Bunny's project pretty early, and if Namond's return to regular classrooms was at a different school (likely, based on Bunny being in a different neighborhood), he wouldn't really be part of Pryzbylewski's universe anymore.

Just read Rhayader's post. Will be very interested to see exactly how Prezbo fits in. As I said above, there are typically little in the way of sentimental cameos. Will be interested to see how Prezbo fits in.

Yeah, it will be interesting. My guess is that he will somehow run into Dukie, since he was close with Dukie during school, and Dukie recently started down a very dangerous path.

I didn't want to mention the episode 10 preview in my post, since I know some people avoid the previews to avoid semi-spoilers, but for those interested, Prezbo's scene in the preview was with Dukie, and Prezbo's rocking a beard these days.

It's also worth noting that he's the last significant prior-seasons character I can think of to get a "where are they now?" update in season five, now that we've seen Poot, Bunny, and Namond in the last couple of weeks (heck, we even got a quick update on Nick Sobotka a few episodes back). I'm glad the show avoids sentimental cameos, but I'm also glad we might get a glimpse at what Pryzbylewski is like after really settling into the education system.

Amen. I know The Wire attempts to be hyper-realistic, but can you leave Dukie in that horse/drug den. We already have Randy in the group home, and I know the realism of the show dictates by definition a realistic portrayal, and that we must confront the facts of the kids' situations.

But Dukie=Bubbles is just incredibly sad.
