what you hear on WQXR (N. Y. Times radio station) all the time, with a dash of Tom Brokaw thrown in for seasoning. Pretentious? Not on your dipthongs.

Mr. Buckley was pompous, well say _ elitist, much in the mold of a Bill O'reilly, less aggravating and with more substance. His pomposity and wit are a loss however, especially given the lack of 'intelligent thought' obvious with this President and this 'woe-begotten' administration.

I guess "Bless America" for realizing that Mr. Buckley was an asset, while Mr. Bush is infinitely less then that and certain to plague America with a legacy of ineptitude...
