David Brooks is NOT intellectually honest. What he is very good at is APPEARING to be intellectually honest (mostly via the vehicle of a well scrubbed earnestness) while actually acting as an apologist for the most irrational, inconsistent, and ugly of Movement Conservative views.

I am sure it makes him very valuable, and that he makes good money. Personally, I find it more than a little repulsive.
