My edits have not been deleted
by szkott

I've made maybe 20 contributions over the last 3 years and as far as I can tell they are still there today. Who has time to edit Wikipedia?

It seems like democracy to me, but maybe because what I added was correct and not too badly written?

That's odd, several of my contributions have been deleted. I'd imagine that your contributions were on non-controversial subjects or, if the subjects were more controversial then your edits were minor or were more to the liberal/libertarian or at least supportive-of-the-subject side.

For very good example of how Wikipedia is misleading their visitors, consider en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Heritage_Site

Do you see any negative information there at all? That's a controversial topic but those who visit that page might not realize it. In other words, WP is spreading disinfo for one reason or another.

And, in fact, a couple years ago I added three links to their external links section. One has disappeared, but two are still there: link, link. You'd think National Geographic would be an acceptable source for Wikipedia, but I guess someone didn't like what was in the article.

For more examples, look through the history and discussion of these:

/Security_and_Prosperity_Partnership_of_North_America

/Antonio_Villaraigosa

/Bill_Richardson

/Media_Matters_for_America

Many people might see nothing wrong with those, but that's only because they don't know what's missing (because it's been deleted).

For more, see this thread.

Did you ever think your edits were bullshit? Perhaps the information you provided was UNTRUE... Hmm, now that's something to think about; I'd delete bogus edits too.
