Secondly, you also want to give 12-20 million illegals amnesty, and that's what it is, amnesty!

I have news for you. This isn't the 1930's when the country was in need of a labor force. At this time, Michigan, Ohio, and other states in the upper Mid-west are screaming about their problems with layoffs, etc. California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas are screaming about the amount of costs that they are incurring for medical care, schooling, and other government subsidies that, contrary to liberal belief, is costing us far more than what they pay in so-called taxes. Day laborers are regularly paid in cash, so you tell me where the tax base is?

On the Socialist healthcare programs of both Obama and Clinton, I suggest you review the debate in New Hampshire when each and every candidate unequivically stated that they would include the 12-20 million in their plans!

Ummm...the country wasn't in need of a labor force in the 30s. We had too much labor, and not enough jobs, and that was the problem. We're having the same problem in the upper Midwest. And tax cuts for the rich aren't going to help the average Californian with their medical bills or public school system. Also, day laborers paid in cash probably aren't making enough to have to pay many taxes, so I'd say the tax base is where it always was.
