purple9:Please God help us if either Hilary or Barack get elected. That is the problem with today's society is we are ready to jump off a cliff like sheep following Oba-ba-bama. As for Hilary all I can say is WOW. Like the US needs a president to start balling on stage when she finds out Ethiopia is a starving third world country. Neither candidate is even close to qualified. This is why we need to vote Republican. Republican's have a much greater (positive) affect on the economy and stock markets. Not to mention they don't believe in any of that universal healthcare bullshit. I have excellent healthcare coverage; why would I want to change it to benefit Joe Schmoe who doesn't work? That's the difference is that Republican's get it. We realize how our country was founded and it wasn't on weak liberalism shit either. Wake up people, your futures are about to be impacted. Think...
What?! "Republicans have a much greater (positive) affect [sic] on the economy and stock markets"??!! Where's our economy and stock market now under a Republican? Recession. Where was it at the end of George H.W. Bush's term? Recession. Our deficit and national debt have exploded under Republicans (Reagan, Bush I and Bush II). If there's one thing this economy doesn't need, it's another Republican!
Do you Republicans "realize how our country was founded?" In fact, it was founded on ideals like shared sacrifice and shared rewards (kind of sounds like universal health care), and that we wanted everyone to have opportunity, not just the rich folks with good health insurance. This was, in fact, a very "liberalism sh*t" idea at the time.
Suppose you lecture me on "how our country was founded." And if you mean by a war which resulted in mass starvation, disease, and inflation, then yes: I think those are very Republican ideals. But I'll pass on them in 2008, thank you very much.
