It's apparent that CaliforniaDreamin intends to spam this board to death. When a majority of posts relate to ranting like his, San's and Nanotech's, it's no fun anymore. Frankly, I don't think terribly highly of those of you who routinely take their bait. They never say anything new--which means you don't, either. My best wishes to those who come here for varied and intelligent discussion of religion. My advice is to seek it elsewhere.

Out of curiosity, what is different between CD and the other faces you have seen here over the years (such as DSM)? It may be an uncomfortable truth that discussions of faith attract fundies who feel that they can spread their message by silencing everyone else with spam.

I will miss you but we all know how to find you if needed. San is ruining the board and yes, we must ignore him. I have done my bit in the last couple weeks, the key is not to post very much, it works.

I am pretty close to that myself. CD is the worst of the sad lot -- San at least can occassionally post some interesting material and I have had worthwhile discussions with him.

How about we ignore California Dreaming? Patiently pointing out the flaws in his arguments like JGC has been doing doesn't prevent him from making the same arguments again, mocking him isn't driving him away, and trading insults with him is, apparently, exactly what is driving him to this board.

I've been on this board off and on for quite some time, and I've had a number of interesting discussions. It would be a shame if the board were to die because of a troll like CD.
