I do not condone having an affair with a married man but the person who wrecked their family is the cheating husband, not the other woman. For a married man to have an affair, it means he is available to opportunities and he is not focused on his marriage. It is the cheating married person who is the home wrecker !!! enough with the sterotype of the 'other woman' who 'makes' the husband cheat !

No, this is a feminist issue, I think. We (women, and no, I'm nobody's "other") are so quick to blame the other woman. SHE had no commitment to the wife, the HUSBAND did.

While it's not top-notch behavior on the "other" woman's part, the term "homewrecker" is really negative.

What, like husbands have no control over their actions? Those poor, grown men, seduced into leaving behind their family to pursue hot sex with someone new...

Speaking as a woman who was dumped for a newer model (who was subsequently also dumped for a newer model), I agree it's the married person's responsibilty to live up to his or her vows. However, now that the deed is done, the mother needs to grow up and put it behind her.

The mother has a right to be bitter until she is old and gray. She should find a group of friends and bitch until she turns blue, but she has two children and she needs to pretend to be a grown up for them.

Perhaps therapy would help. If she doesn't do it for herself now he kids are going to need it later.

On the one hand, you're absolutely correct. The cheating hubby has to take some responsibility here.

On the other hand, I've heard of women who actively prefer married men. Bag 'em, tag 'em and dump 'em after their spouse does.
