I have spent the last year researching and studying webisode business models and emerging media platforms.
When I first read about the launch of QL in November, I was there on the first day. The fact that I read about it in the Sunday edition of a newspaper in Alabama seemed almost too good to be true in terms of marketing.
I have researched and supported several failed projects, and I was at least hopeful that this one would be different.
After each of the previous projects, I was in a state of total frustration and constantly thought, "If only they would do this or that...geez don't thay know anything about this relatively new business of online content?"
Well, basically...I came to work and stayed to play, become informed, and meet people that truly do "Get the Biggest" picture of what www.quarterlife.com is really all about.
Folks...get used to it and join in before the masses find out. QL has without a doubt raised more than just the bar for online content. It is so much more than the show...
Mark my words ...this is the model that others will try to recreate. This concept will become the quarterstone of things to come.
If you did not understand what Mr. Herskovitz was saying, then I am sorry... "You just don't get it".
