Why does there need to be an anti-Entourage?
by The Chemist

Are men no longer allowed escapist fantasies on television without being lambasted for it? Is it high art? No. Can it be fun and engaging? Sometimes. Does it completely go over most women's (and gay men's) heads? Absolutely!

Would most guys like to be in Vince's shoes, if only for a little taste of "the life"? If they're honest they do. And what's wrong with that?

The name of the show is "We need girlfriends," the writer wasn't saying we needed an anti-Entourage, just that the this show was about the opposite lifestyle that Entourage does. The show itself doesn't appear that it is meant as a critique of Entourage, nor does it seem to be saying that men can't have an escapist show like it. They can both exist, and hopefully, this show can be as entertaining as Entourage often is.
