The International Obesity Task Force is not a UN task force. It's a creation of the drug company Roche and its mission is to get governments to take the problem of obesity seriously (in other words, its mission is to get your government and other governments and health insurers to put tax money towards paying for weight loss drugs for everyone.) A great boondoggle since these drugs barely work and you have to keep taking them for the rest of your life.
