The Bible doesn't say (and neither does Jesus) that a believer is never to judge that which the Bible (and Jesus) calls sin. It's just that believers need to speak the truth in love. Yet speaking truth is generally a dangerous thing in itself, because we are always apt to letting our fallible human nature to "color" truth. Best to just love and pray for the "sinner" and leave the judging to God.
I've come to believe that I must earn the right to be heard by those I feel are treading on dangerous spiritual ground. My words should be constrained first by His Spirit, and then always prefaced with compassion, understanding and longsuffering. Proverbs 6 lists six things the Lord hates...seven that detestable.
1. Haughty eyes
2. Lying tongue
3. Hands that shed innocent blood
4. Hearts that device wicked schemes
5. Feet that rush into evil
6. A false witness
7. One who stirs up dissension among his brothers
Until a believer can boast that they are free of any of these things, they should just STFU and work on the beam in their own eye.
I realize I will get some flack from some of the believers here here, but tough titties. I don't answer to them. God is doing a work, and thank you Jesus, He is using me.
