Nice anecdote, but the type of steroids you were taking are a completely different class of drugs referenced here. Chris Benoit has been accused of taking Anabolic-Androgenic Steroids.

What you were taking are a class of drugs called Corticosteroids.

Different drugs. Very different effects.

Please don't ever confused anabolic-androgenic steroids with corticosteroids. They're not even close. Get educated, then make a post -- perhaps it wont' be quite so ignorant.
