Who is really to blame?

I could actually stomach this amnesty for the telcos if and ONLY if those who provided "explicit assurances from the highest levels of the government" that the telcos would suffer no consequences get to spend some serious time in a federal penitentiary. Not before. If the snooping bastards who are so quick to discard our laws and rights as a convenience feel that it's necessary to shield the telcos, let them step up and admit what they've done and take the punishment they deserve. I think that would be a very safe way to offer amnesty to the telcos, because the members of our current administration aren't into taking responsibility for their actions.

This whole smelly mess needs to be INVESTIGATED, like virtually every minute of this sleazy, extreme right-wing administration. I've never felt to personally angry as I have been since this arrogant moron Bush took office and begin dismantling this great country and selling it off piece by piece to the highest bidder!!! Our country is being run by gangsters!!!
