Don't Count Her Out
by Edna Epstein

Don't salivate too much or count her out just yet... Yes Obama is on a magnificent roll, a roll that could not have been scripted better... yet the slower and the "harder" he wins, the better it is in the long run... first it will keep him from getting "cocky" and coming across as arrogant -- a reading that much as a I love him, he needs to guard against. Then too there is the backlash sympathy potential, just as happened in NH. Her feminist supporters don't want to see her "trounced" and may rally to her for that reason...So hold that salivation.

Trouncing Is No Longer An Option
by Thrasymachus

If Hillary had been knocked out of the race by an early loss in the New Hampshire primary, it would have been a trouncing. A crushing defeat in all most of the Super Tuesday primaries would probably also have qualified.

But at this point, she's no longer at risk of a humiliating beat-down. She's run the closest primary campaign that I can recall, and if she loses it, she won't be losing it by very much. . .

right? please?

I agree. It's been (and still is) an extremely close race and I think it's far too early to sound the death knell for Sen. Clinton. Yes, things seem to be going against her rather drastically (if only because she began the race so far ahead) right now but there's no telling exactly what the next few weeks & months will bring.

It's going to get very ugly on the convention floor. I can guarantee you that.
