Re-assert your values...
by bluedanube555

To me it seems strange that there is such a lack of respect by immigrants that come to a country founded on Christian principles. Not that I am supporting oppression, but let's be realistic. Sharia law and abuse of women is not something most folks support. If I were to visit a country in the Mid East whose government clearly was based on Sharia values, I wouldn't expect them to change to suit my beliefs, although I might be grateful for tolerance of them. There is a fine line between supporting abusive polices for the sake of "diversity" and drawing a cultural line. To change well established polices for the sake of economics or politics is not a prudent measure. To reverse them at a later date might entail violent interaction. I think reasserting Christian values with tolerance of diversity is the best way to go. I am not supportive of the inching forward of Islam into free countries. When murder happens, such as honor killings, time to draw the line. Intellectual discussion is one thing, abuse, rape, murder is something else. When philosophy crosses the line into physical threat, that is where our laws need to say "enough". Establish our western boundaries. We will survive economically, even without their support. They came because of freedom, don't let them down.

Also, if we did become pro life, meaning overturning Roe v Wade, our foreign relations with the mid east I believe would improve. They could no longer point to us as the country that kills its young at the reckless whim of its women, men having no say and fathers being absent from consideration. Do you imagine the grief other countries may feel in watching us day after day destroying our future? They looked up to us. We were a role model. And they grieve with the mothers, fathers, grandfathers, sisters and brothers of those that will never take a breath of free air. Haven't you ever been disappointed by someone that you looked up to? How did that disillusionment affect you? Didn't you begin to look to other people and revise your viewpoint? Didn't you ignore the person, get angry at that person? That can't be good for us economically nor for our security.

Please consider your viewpoints on your Christian faith. Not everyone is evangelical, but in the quiet of your homes, re establish your borders and boundaries.

Thanks.

I really appreciate the manner inwhich you have addressed this issue and stated so much in a small space. Very excellent!
It isn't about "life" it's about sex

Sorry to burst your bubble but outlawing abortion would do nothing to improve our image in the Middle East. Radical Muslims, like radical Christians, aren't REALLY concerned about the unborn perse, they just can't stand the idea of women having sex without consequences. Anything that makes it easier to have a fulfilling sex life is seen as vile and evil. If all American women agreed to oppose abortion tomorrw the far right and radical Islam would still hate them for being in control of their own sexuality. It is about control.

bluedanube555 till this moment I have challenged anybody to show me where in the sharia law or the qoran or the prophet (peace be upon him) saying and doing support your argument about what you claim to be a part of the sharia law.

TJA “the far right and radical Islam would still hate them for being in control of their own sexuality. It is about control.”

No it’s not. It’s about the right thing about what God command us to do or not to do.

Look the result of free sex life thousands and thousands of children outside marriage and a big burden on the governments and the people.

And yes we are not the judge of that God is.

Whose God? Which rules? Which of the hundereds of thousands of different interperatations of God's will would you like to have guide your sexual behavior? Get over yourself. The idea that God cares who gets to have sex and under what circumstances is absurd. These are simply cultural traditions that have been embedded in religion. Backwards cultures at that. Female circumcision, polygamy, absolute control over where and when and woman can interact with other people....these are all aspects of MAN'S desire to use religion to control women.

You’re entitled to your opinion which’s neither supported by any evidence nor is it a fact.

Maybe the God that you believe in does not care about everything or does not lay down a laws for everything, ours does.

And it does not seem from my words that my God control my sexual behavior you do.

Our lord the one and only all mighty know what is best for his creation.

Secondly I did not ask you for an advice to get over my self. I’m already by the grace of ALLH all mighty over myself.

You get over yourself and tell me what the Ten Commandments said in this regards. That if you believe in it.

The ten commandments are social rules for a backward society. Based on the code of Hammurabi much like many of the rules in the Koran. Some appeal to basic truths of human behavior and can be justified for upholding the social contract. Others are just plain silly. Both the Bible and the Koran say that sins like murder and eating shellfish are equally vile in the face of the Lord. Absurd. Try to think for yourself sometim. God gave you a brain. Use it.

At least I have brain unlike you; you are not making any sense at all with this garbage which by the way just talk with no proofs what so ever. So please before you pass judgment on other get a brain and try to think how you reach here.

This the last answer on your comments. So don’t bother, what I’m advising you with is get your act together and try to think and make sense and read before you venture into something much bigger than your deformed brain.
