Its a sad and dangerous trend we take on when we become afraid of a person or group because they will murder you for insulting a "belief" that is unprovable or destroying a piece of paper with words printed on it all of which was made by mortal humans, Not a god, and suffer murder from psychopaths for doing it. Personal freedom is being sacrificed by entire populations and nations simply to pacify a small group of fanatical madmen who threaten violence at every hint of some kind of fabricated 'disrespect' for irrational beliefs.
Somewhere on a new story in the last week there was a quote from a highly placed muslim cleric that they would take over the united states, not by violence or waging war, but by inserting a {ringer} person into our national political system who is their man and he will acomplish this from within by swaying the hearts and minds of the nation by making our religious belief system a thing of scorn and shame. At first I thought it was a little far fetched rant from a nutcase. Now it is becoming clear , very slowly, that this may not have been an idle boast on his part and may have just let the cat out of the bag. We may have just lost the struggle by putting all our efforts in material warfare against al-quaida and ignoring the fact that some pretty smart people in islam may have outsmarted us in the contest of wits and beliefs.
Our beliefs are being used against us to get the pacifists and liberals and apologists and those who tremble inside when faced with threats and give up at the thought of violence. Those people are always the first to lose their freedom and their lives when the threat manifests itself by those who would take away everything they hold dear. Its wakeup time.
Is the 'ringer' that the muslims speak of a person who was born outside of the united states? Is it a person who is the child of muslim parentage? Is it a person who bears a muslim name? Is it a person who carries the name of the muslim phrophet? Is it a person who is currently calling for the "change" (unspecified so far) that will shake america to its very roots. Is it the person who will not wear a lapel pin with the american flag on it? Is it the person who will not salute the flag of the united states of america? Its wake up time.
If this pisses you off, then you had better do a quick personal self reappraisal of your values of the way of life you now enjoy and decide if you want to continue to live in constitutional freedom or knuckle under and bow down to Islam under threat of violence by psychopath murderers and their masters. Your freedom means nothing if it is controlled by those who believe that freedom is an affront to the one and only true religion.
