Islamic Law

1. People will follow Islam willingly or unwillingly and that includes whether they KNOW it or NOT. That is because Islamic Law originates in the Creation itself and is a natural outcome of that creation in terms of consequences.

2. There is no such thing as "honor" killings. "Dishonorable" killings of women and children are committed all over the world, every day and hour by a variety of believers and non believers. Your first mistake is in calling these atrocities "honor" killings when in fact, the whole notion of killing a person involved in a SEX CRIME originated in the killing of the OFFENDER not the OFFENDED. Get yer facts straight and trust me, Islamic Law is way over the head of the ignorant. Obviously.

3. Hijab and the morality/normalcy of a "dress" code. Do people realize that two year olds do not know how to dress themselves? WE TEACH THEM and in the case of modern man, we teach children to dress themselves like miniature adults and in many cases, prostitutes. It mirrors what we believe about ourselves and it appears that we believe that the "nubile" body is preferable, desirable and unfortunately, for the use and abuse of adults.

Islam is a state of mind and no border fence can keep out the truth. How it is.

This is a perfect example of reducing an absolutist repressive religion to pure etherial theory. Is Islam ahistorical? It would be much easier to excuse it radical distortions were the history of its own viciousness not well documented and even today, quite well demonstrated in those countries where it is so dominating practiced.

It is the case that religions of all forms have been some of the most sadistic structures of human death and destruction and as the radical Islamistic cult of the Taliban so well have demonstrated...Islam is far more than merely a "state of mind"; your ahistorical and uncritical "mind" perhaps, but not those who understand the critical needs for liberty, freedom, and an open society for all.

As far as how you chose to dress...I don't care if you tape yourself inside a cardboard box...just don't expect to demand a differ treatment under law than anybody else. If this does not meet your "state of mind", then have the existential courage to practice your faith inside the nearest Islamic country of your source. I bet you will not be there long with your slack uncritical belief. But if you do...great: stay there brave holy person! Will your daughter or son have the same right to seek a different path...honestly?

From Mr. Cerf some responses before yours and one that you, in such a blissful "state of mind" so wisely chose not to think honestly about:

"Bottom line is, the demand to enforce sharia law in Western countries -- or rather not to have the state interfere with its enforcement by private groups -- is a demand that the civil law not interfere in the power that Muslim men exercise over what they are pleased to regard as "their" women. Much of the supposed Muslim grievance against European values is that Muslim women, who see the freedom available to them in Western countries, refuse to submit, and the secular state offers them the same protection against male coercion and violence that it offers to any woman." ~ Spot On! “As far as how you chose to dress...I don't care if you tape yourself inside a cardboard box...just don't expect to demand a differ treatment under law than anybody else.”

From where did you come up with this discovery where did she ask for different treatment, it’s only the hatred inside of you that sees all what is Islamic this way.

I bet you did not even read about it or study about it. I bet all what you want to do is live your life just like animals free to do anything without laws or without boundaries.

It’s your life your free to do whatever you pleased to do with it but don’t impose it on other you moran.
