DEGSME, "INTELLECTUAL," LIKE AL GORE
by CaliforniaDreamin

"Thhe (sic) data on this is clear"

degsme wrote the following post at 02/08/2008 12:40 PM:

The data on this is clear. Remmember (sic) that Universities are also a business AND there is an aspect of self-congratulatory filtering (College Deans and Presidents often had good grades and scores).

Note also that Colleges actually DO ask questions that allow identification of first attendees from blue-collar families. You clearly are ignorant of what goes into a College Application.

Conservatives - Ignorant and uninformed without even realizing it.

CaliforniaDreamin responds to typical liberal hubris:

1. Please stop your lying. I am NOT "clearly ignorant of what goes into a college application." Grades and SAT scores are the prime determinants, unless you are a minority or your father gave the university $50,000 or more.

2. The relentless generalizing by you liberals of conservative stupidity is so silly - it is so reprehensibly dishonest of you.

Let's take it from the top down, shall we? I won't compare my own intellect with you. We'll look at third parties, whose records are open and available.

Bill Clinton - Widely hailed as an "intellectual," Bubba raped Juanita Broaddrick. Is that what a smart man does? Then he has a mistress for 11 years, one Gennifer Flowers. Then he exposes his erection to Paula Jones and asks her to "kiss it". Then he puts Monica under his desk for blowjobs WHILE he is under investigation for sexual harassment.

You've got to do better than this pathological liar, who lied his way into U Arkansas law school faculty, then lied his way into Attorney General office, and Governor's Office, then lied his way into the Oval Office, promising us a "tax cut."

George Bush (43) - eternally branded as "stupid" by you liberals. How did someone so "stupid" defeat Al Gore, as proven by USA Today and the Miami Herald investigations into hanging chads. "Stupid" Bush then beat John Kerry, not just in the 2004 election, but also in grades at Yale, and in officer's exams in the military.

Al Gore - flunked out of Vanderbilt divinity school.

Please name one other Vice President - a Republican one - who flunked out of college. Just one.

"We all know the zebra doesn't lose its spots." - Al Gore

"I took the initiative in inventing the internet." - Al Gore

"Who ARE these guys!" - Al Gore looking at Washington and Jefferson and other notables at Monticello

"I don't know any of your songs, I'm just a really big fan." - Al Gore to rocker Courtney Love

Stop it, Al, you're killin' me.

Ted Kennedy - was THROWN out of Harvard for cheating.

Please name ONE Republican senator who was THROWN out of college for cheating. Just one.

How smart was it for Kennedy to drown Mary Jo Kopechne and then slink away like a drunken coward?

How smart was it for liberals to reelect this drunken coward every election since, even though Ted never did a day in jail?

How "smart" is Robert Byrd, former Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan?

How "smart" are people like you for carrying his water after reelecting the KKK Byrd term after term?

Please don't answer. You'll only lie and spin some more.

May all of your daughters and granddaughters be treated by "smart" men the same way Bill Clinton has been treating women for decades. You deserve no less.

Typo police??!!
by degsme

Wow, to name calling you add being the Typo Police?

Yeah you really must be running scared since you have nothing but "guilt by association" and "name calling" left.

Rather sad and pathetic.

Re: LIBERAL PRETENSIONS
by CaliforniaDreamin

How liberals mocked and ridiculed a Republican for reading from a 3x5 card the misspelling of "potato." How liberals hooted and howled over one simple word, written by a school teacher, almost certainly their fellow liberal.

But catch liberals doing the linguistic equivalent of misspelling "potato" and they go ballistic.

Once again we see that liberal rules applied to hated conservatives - pardon me - "fascists" and "Nazis" do not apply to the liberals themselves. Just ask any liberal, like degsme.

Since you have absolutely nothing to contribute, sir, I shall henceforth ignore you. You're not worth my time.

Its all in the context.

Last I checked, Quayle was CORRECTING someone else when he made the mistake. If you correct someone else and do it wrongly - yeah that deserves howls of ridicule.

And if you can't tell the difference between that sort of pretentious strutting for the press (which was what Quayle was doing) and a simply typo, then your paranoia level is pretty stratospheric.

That you repeatedly devolve to name calling, pretty much indicates that you actually do get it, and are desperate to distract from the ridiculousness of your positions.

Quite pathetic really

Quayle mistakenly disqualified an elementary spelling bee candidate. That level of shame is TV gold. But to save face (and money) unlike Quayle, most contestants on Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader would have played it safe and used their "copy."
