On Day One
by satyr9us

Obama's history as a Constitutional Law professor has been the fundamental basis for my championing of his candidacy since before he was a candidate.

I really couldn't care less if it makes me seem partisan to anyone with whom I interact-- the facts, insofar as I am able to ascertain them, are that the rabid partisanship of Team Bush has run rough-shod over the integrity of the Executive office and the Constitution which limits its powers.

People talk about experience. Aside from the fact that he's spent more time in elected office than Clinton, what really impresses me about Obama is his experience studying and explicating the Constitution. I want someone in office who's prepared to steer this Republic back to its moorings-- someone who is prepared on day one.
