Justice Roberts
by jdnathan

The same people who bought the Iraq invasion story pretty much bought the Roberts story. In both instances, the story bore very little relationship to subsequent reality.

I seems as if the American mainstream suffers from a great deal of wooly headed thinking these days. Or at least it seems to make a sage out of P.T. Barnum.

A Supreme Court Justice that actually interprets the Constitution instead of trying to rewrite it? This DEFINITELY makes up for the O'Connor Houdini perpetrated on President Reagan. Enjoy, libs!

Hey Hoosier, it's YOUR rights that are at stake. If you feel Roberts is on the side of the little guy, the rulings so far suggest otherwise.

Roberts is very smart, but a very bad Supreme Court Chief. The law is above party politics, and liberal/conservative debate. It's about upholding the Constitution, and the way Roberts interprets it, suggests to me he's a complete and utter jackass.

The state exists to serve the people, not the other way around, yet in all of these rulings, Roberts has hurt the little guy at the expense of the rich and powerful. That's not what America is supposed to be about.

Conservatives are running the country into the ground. Worst Administration ever, and the Supreme Court will be a lasting legacy that will be hard to get rid of.

The liberals who supported Roberts were badly fooled. Roberts did a great job of concealing his true intentions.

Bush started sharpening his Supreme Court knives on day 2 of his presidency. Anyone who doesn't believe Roberts and Alito were thoroughly "talked to" before their appointments is ridiculously naive. Not that she cares, I blame Sandy O'Connor. She should have known what was going to happen when she stepped down and waited Georgie out of office.

How are the Conservatives running this country into the ground?

What rights have you forfeited?

I thought the Democrat coup in 2006 was going to fix everything...

James

O'Connor hood-winked all that voted to confirm her as well. Not such a bad thing when she agrees with you, huh?
