CNN had a poll up tonight asking which is more important in choosing a candidate, "stance on issues" or "character."

McCain has neither.

Having a hard time choosing between Clinton and Obama?

Your Goddess Anne likes Clinton.

how can anyone say McCain doesn't have a stance on issues? He'll answer any question at all asked in his famous, "town hall forums." Plus he's taken strong stances, even on contraversial issues like the war in Iraq and his illegal immigration reform.

And character? Sure he's not beyond a little political duplicity during campaign season (like everyone else), but he's stood up to bush on torture which went against his party...and in fact has shown a history of going against his party base to compromise on an issue that he believes in. Caring more about legislating than fighting your, "enemy," across the isle is fine character.

Well Jed, setting aside the fact that you have no idea what your talking about, he is the only one that can win, he is a 82% conservative rating. Just because he does not go along with every single issue of the bilbe beating bunko artist wing of your party does not mean he lacks character. What exactly do you guys want from him?
