Presidential
by jrelkins

Take this test:

1. Get photos of Romney/Guliani or Romney/Thompson and McCain/Huckabee

2. Place them side-by-side

3. Contemplate who can beat Clinton/Obama

The powers that be in the Republican party should be doing this. Why aren't they? When women admit to voting for philandering Bill Clinton because he is 'cute' and perception trumps substance, this is a no-brainer for the Republican party. Anyone in the party that doesn't understand this is fundamentalist - fundamentally stupid.

The right approach is for the party powerful to have a chat with Huckabee, have him endorse Romney, and pledge his delegates to Romney.

John McCain is a hero for whom I have the utmost respect. He cannot beat Clinton/Obama or Clinton or Obama.

Who is the republican national chair person anyway? We are lacking leadership from the the get go. Why is Huckabee incouraged to continue his distructive campain?

Conservative will not vote for Mccain and rightfully so. I will always respect his service to our country but that does not qualify a person to be president.

It is time to look at what we stand for and stand up for we believe. The party has always been one to open arms to others who have differing opinions but shouldn't drop the core beliefs that made the party great.

Their is only one who candidate left worth supporting! I'll still stick with Romney at least I can sleep at night.
