I disagree. Paul is in the playoffs right now. Conversely, they all but crowned Giuliani, and he didn't make the playoffs. Likewise, there was a time that Thompson was declared to be the G.O.P.'s savior. Meanwhile, the party itself claims to be concerned about attracting young voters to assure it has a future, yet turns its back on the one candidate they're sening their last dimes to.

G.O.P. primary voters are trying to decide whether a combative warhawk with no grasp of the issues, a flip-flopping, job-cutting mogul famous mainly for overseeing the Big Dig, or a theocrat who wants to alter the Constitution to suit the Southern Baptists will be better suited to win the general election and/or draw youth into the party, and you're questioning my grip on reality?

I'm just surprised that it was two 'limp-wristed, anti-american, wine sipping, ACLU, atheist-college professor, liberal-blue states' that faced off for the Super Bowl....beating all those red-blooded, god-fearing, conservative you-can-trust-to-be tough red staters, especially Texas.
