CFLs are ugly.

No woman I know wants to put on her make-up, or light up her bedroom or her baby's nursery with CFLs.

Really? Ugh. Well I don't - this will be such an easy mark-up on e-bay.

Except for the fact that cfls and or LED lamps will be developed that meet the needs of people like you before incandescent lamps are gone completely.

LED lamps are an interesting idea, but that only works for me when/where I'm in the market for new lamps. I happen to like many of the lamps and chandeliers I already own and I'm not replacing them any time soon. I just don't see putting CFLs in my crystal chandeliers, nor do I see spending thousands of dollars to replace them.
