Favorite Movie Lines-Clint of course
by Fog Lifter
I think my personal favorite is from Outlaw Josey Wales. A bounty hunter is confronting Josey the saloon and Josey tries to convince him to give it up. The bounty hunter says "A man's got to make a living" and Josey says "Dyin' ain't much of a livin'."

Personally, a couple of my favorite Eastwood lines come from Heartbreak Ridge, where Sergeant Major Choozu and Gunny Highway are exchanging insults when the reporting-in Highway is caught drinking his old buddy Chooz's own coffee from his own cup:

Chooz: Hey there, skunk-stool! What are you don', sucking down my lifer's juice out of my own mug?

Highway: You're right, I should've had my shots first. But I figured I'd take a chance.

Chooz: If your brain ran as fast as your mouth, you'd be a friggin' 20 star general by now.

Highway: And you, Sergeant Major, ought to be a poster child for a prophylactic.

Only two old friends could get away with slanging each other that way.

One of Eastwood's best lines is in one of his worst movies: "City Heat" (1984), in which a long-awaited teaming with fellow superstar Burt Reynolds fizzled, largely because Reynolds' star career was about over by then.

Anyway, Burt's getting beaten up by some thugs, and his friend-enemy Clint is watching, amused by the whole thing.

A bystander urges Clint to join the fight and help Burt. Clint refuses, replying:

"I abhor violence."

Make my day (ronald reagan even used it when confronting congress with legislation he wanted to see passed)

Meet my friends smith and wesson (could have the names incorrect but you get it)

Welcome to the hotel VFW (very few whites)

A good man always knows his limitations

"Deserve's got nothing to do with it. (Unforgiven). I loved his role in Unforgiven.

I have been rewatching his Dirty Harry stuff, it's better everytime you see it.
