YES!
by OIFVet

I thought I was alone and in the dark with my yearning to forever more preserve that great symbol of American Ingenuity- The Light Bulb.

I, too, hate the hospitalesque hue of the Gore bulbs. They are so cold and unforgiving in a home. My new home is equipped with about 15% incandescent bulbs and I hate using the others.

The longevity issue with incandescent bulbs was sadly a built in feature to ensure folks had to keep buying more and is now the selling point for the new type. It is and always has been possible to build longer lasting bulbs.

I am convinced this is a movement by folks who have invested in the new technology and prey on the conscience of the American people. The new science lab lights are being pushed on us udner the guise altruism.

I vote to place the incandescent bulb on the endangered species list and protect it forever.

Besides, cartoonists will forever be in a quandary as to what icon to use to symbolize and idea being formed in the head of their character.

Yes, that's right, CFLs are a vast left wing conspiracy...

Dinosaurs like you are why we need a law forbidding the use of the global warming tungsten light bulb.

Try a vast corporate conspiracy, LULZ OMG.

CFLs introduce a differential pricing structure where the cheapest bulbs give off the nastiest light, and you have to pay more to get more. Incandescents drop light above the best and most expensive CFL, so when you have a competitor like that best to eliminate the competition...

Want an example? Look up the 1948 Tucker automobile. In this case it's companies like GE doing it to themselves. They understand that ultimately CFLs will be more profitable.
