How Lame
by Gamer-Chick

Wow, I am embarrassed to the core by so many of the comments here. SC happens to be a different racial makeup than most of the country. Anyone who pulled the majority of votes was going to have a huge black turn out.

Do black people only vote for black people? Do women only vote for women? Do white males only vote for white males? No one brings up race or people being reverse racists when other people are elected to office.

And all of this jabber jawing about Baraks church. It's a fact that church is the most segregated place that anyone attends. Before people start saying Barak goes to a black church I wonder if they go to a white church. Who cares anyways?

People are not their races or their genders. People are individuals. Barak is black ... so what? Are blacks some nefarious group out for revenge? Is he going to get into the White House and paint it black and then change the National Anthem to rap? Give me a break!

Also, the whole Muslim thing - he's not Muslim and if he was - Who Cares?!?! I want to know that the President can create jobs, improve quality of life, keep the economy going and keep America in good standing. I don't care how Christian a President is if he pulls us into a God forsaken war and destroys the country in the process.

I'm not a Barak supporter but I am well on my way to being one. No one says anything different but he atleast seems like he honestly gives a damn about people and not just power.

Support your own ideals

Well, here's what it comes down to. Support for what Barack Obama represents is support to repudiate the politics of division, demonization and hate.

Obama is not a pure Democratic Representative.

In Illinois he was called our Republican Democrat, because he supported liberal republican policies 70.2%, and Democratic Policies 29.8%. He is just a Liberal Republican in the guise of a Democratic, nothing more than a mole!!

Don't vote for this wolf in sheep's clothing!!!

Sharpchef, I believe your party partisan cheerleading and backbiting is what Obama supporters are saying they don't like. You feel free to harangue roughly half the voters in your own nation, considering their feelings and thoughts to be worthless trash to be ignored and trampled. Others prefer a more inclusive approach, recognizing that any value held by tens of millions of people probably has some merit.

Jesus...are you kidding me. Did you miss the 935 lies that came from the Bush administration, propaganda that was stewed through the media, that America swallowed like popcorn shrimp.

Only to find out after thousands of deaths, that Bush lied?

The Republicans have a foot hold in the media that allows them to fertilize their crops of untruths, and false statements with out being held accountable!!

If you think for one second that it is not possible that they have placed a mole in our midst, to run in the democratic side, to allow a win-win for their agenda, then your blind, and need to open your mind.

How did he come to run for Presidency? He had Republican backing, and supports republican policies. In my state of Illinois he was known as our Republican Democrat.

I am concerned for America, and feel that we are being fed a new face, by the Republican powers, to insure their agenda in the Middle East continues.

I feel sorry for the voters, who can't see through the veil of lies, and distortions that is ruining our country. If you want change, go with a known, 100% democrat, and stop placing value on a Republican backed runner, who is not uniting for America, but for the very people we want out of the White House!

Prove me wrong!!!

Repubicans have a foot hold in the media? What parallel dimension are you living in?

Here...look up the owners of all the major news media outlets!

Minus Fox News...search for Media owners...hint...browser search....list...

I'd rather you find the information, I already have a dozen times...now it's your turn...when you find that 5 out of the 8 major News Media Companies are Republican owned, come back and tell me I'm wrong!!!

Mind over matter...apparently it's time to trade in your dimension, and buy a new vehicle for you to jump through time warps, and worm holes with!! I hope you have on the fly 4x4 action, cause your driving on a slippery slope!

And what positive stories, pray tell, have been aired on ABC, CBS, NBC or CNN that would actually support a Republican? Any pro-Bush stories lately? Any "success in Iraq" stories? Any cheering for Rudy or Mitt or Mike? Maybe you're watching different news than I am.

Oh sure then it wouldn't be a well maintained political machine, would it? Please, don't be shallow. If they covered the news in the positive percentage you apply, then we'd all know the truth about who is running it. This has been proven for well over 20+ years my friend, a well known fact, that these companies, and local news branches are politically owned. 60 Seconds broke the story years, and years ago, then punished by the very company that owned the show. They were not allowed to speak about the story again, or revisit the story, because they "leaked" too much truth.

When I said News Media, that didn't just mean television...

You have to just love the idea that there's a bunch of fat-ass cigar-smoking Republican fat-cats sitting around telling editors and reporters what to print and air... "Republican-owned" is a hilarious assertion, given that almost all the outlets are owned by publicly-traded companies.

Who ownes these companies? Opps...this might be a topic for you to produce links on. Besides you have alot in common with Republican Fat-Cats...you missed the point...these publicly traded companies are all owned by Republican registered voters, and run by a majority of Republican registered investors...Hmmmm...seems you might not have a leg up on me...

Prove me wrong...I'll give you 24 hours of research time..ready...set...go!!!

Um Sharpchef, do you have any idea how paranoid, partisan and aggressive you appear? You are a Democratic Dick Cheney. The last thing any nation needs is a guy like you in the White House. You'd probably find an excuse to invade Texas (oops I guess Clinton already did that in Waco ;-))

"paranoid, partisan and aggressive" You forgot spectacularly, hilariously ignorant.

Actually, you are the one accusing the bulk of the media of being owned and invested by Republicans so in actuallity it is you who should prove what you say, not someone to do your work for you and prove you wrong. But then considering the fact that you can't get the names and political affiliations of all the investors (considering a lot of them invest through things like 401k's) you cannot prove that you are right so you will create a smokescreen instead of backing your talk up with facts.
